Worried About Your Abilities?
We’ve taken hundreds of people on beautiful, enjoyable rides.
Nearly anyone can ride a bike, and enjoy it. We love introducing (and re-introducing) people to the joy of riding a bike and we want to help you train for your bike tour.
That said, many of our tours can be intimidating to both beginners and experienced riders.
The entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway?
This is a gorgeous tour (read more here) but as rewarding and fun as this tour is, you will have a far better time on the 470 mile length (or even more importantly, the 50,000 feet of climbing) if you’re prepared. If you train for your bike tour!
What does that mean? We recommend plenty of hours in the saddle before you arrive for your tour. And if at all possible, following a structured training plan.
Free Training Plan
Just as a for-instance, let’s say you plan to ride EFI (Every Flippin Inch) of the Blue Ridge Parkway. What would the training plan look like?
We partnered with Vision Quest Coaching and they created a training plan for our clients. The plan spans 20 weeks prior to the departure date for the Parkway, and will put you in the best position you can be for not only completing your tour, but enjoying it.
We will provide this training plan to you at no cost and no obligation.
Yes, Vision Quest is also standing by to coach you through your training (for a fee) but that is strictly optional.
That said, we personally use Vision Quest for coaching and we can’t recommend them highly enough! (see the Velo Girl’s blog about her use of a coach).
We don’t charge for the plan (although we ask that you don’t share it with others… send them to us).
All you need to do is fill out this form, and we’ll send the information directly to your email:
